Ring Day and Dunk

Kevin's parents came down for his big day.

Kevin had his parents present his ring to him since they paid for it. As soon as his Mom opened the box though, Evelyn grabbed the ring and then placed it in her Daddy's hands. The girl loves jewelry! I don't think we could have planned the ring presentation any better if we tried.

This is one of the best pictures we could get on the bridge as a family. Notice Josie's hand. She learned the reason you should not rub your hand across wooden beams on a bridge. The rest of the pictures after this Josie stared down at her hand and cried because of that tiny splinter.

We celebrated the next day with a little ring dunk party and had such a great time. It was definitely different than my ring dunk party from college, but I think the presence of all the kids made the day that much more special!

And of course there were some big kids there too. :)

Some more big kids...

And he dunked the ring like a pro. I was quite impressed.

Gig 'em!
